Chain Brake Systems Empty Chain Brake Systems

Here are the pictures of brake systems. These are from two sources, Old Farms by John Vince and Conestoga Wagon: 1750 -1850 by Shumway, Durell and Frey.. They were called, chain brakes, drop chains, locking chains, hip chains, rough locks, and wheel chains, depending where you were.
